If you need to surrender your guinea pig, please view our surrender page to see what options are available. If needed you can fill out a surrender form application, Once we receive your application, we will review it and contact you to arrange a surrender appointment.
Please check our Surrender Form for capacity limitations. When we are at capacity we are unable to take in surrenders.
NO, we do not charge a set surrender fee. Instead, we simply ask for a donation to help cover the cost of medical care, food, and housing for your guinea pig while they are with us. If you are in need of medical help or funds for a medical surgery for your pet please fill out our financial hardship application.
No, we never partner with any organization or group that will euthanize guinea pigs. We are dedicated to finding them loving forever homes.

We typically ask for information on your guinea pig’s health history, diet, and behavior, as well as any medical records or other relevant information that you have.
We accept guinea pigs of all ages and breeds, regardless of their health or behavior. However, we may not be able to accept guinea pigs with certain medical conditions or aggressive behavior.
Our adoption process typically involves filling out an application, going through a screening process, and paying an adoption fee.
- While we understand the desire to stay connected with your former pet, we prioritize the privacy and security of our foster and adoptive families. Therefore, we do not typically provide contact information for the new families that adopt our rescued guinea pigs. This is to protect their privacy and ensure that they are not contacted by multiple individuals, which could become overwhelming or confusing for them.
- That being said, we do understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet can be difficult and emotional. If you have specific concerns or questions about your guinea pig’s new home, we are happy to provide updates on how they are doing in general. However, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide frequent or detailed updates, as we prioritize the care and well-being of our current rescues.
